Thank you to everyone who came along to one of the Xmas markets or book fairs and bought a book or two from me at the end of 2024. It was a hectic end to the year, with at least one event every weekend from late October through to the big day itself. Many of these events were with colleagues from Oxfordshire Independent Authors (OXIA), a lovely group of indie authors of which I am so pleased to be a part. Looking forward to many more successful events in 2025, including one or two of our own. More information about these in due course.
I met so many lovely people in the countdown to Xmas, and had some interesting conversations about books, writing, research, inspiration and more. If you did buy a book, I hope you enjoy it and I would love to hear from you with any feedback.
Amazon was also pretty busy for me during November and December, with lots of Kindle downloads and KENP pages read.
So, to 2025, and I hope that my next novel, the first of the series set in Berwick upon Tweed in 1560, will be published this year. I’m also editing a manuscript I finished back in 2019 – five years is surely long enough to shelve something, so it’s time I got to work and sorted this one out – whilst also plotting a sequel to The Woman in the Painting.
My first author talks for 2025 are in February – more will be added to the Events section of this website as they are booked.
Wishing everyone the very best for 2025 – and lots of happy reading.
