Shades, a short story by Amanda Roberts, features in a new collection launched to celebrate independent authors in Oxfordshire. The collection was compiled by Oxford Independent Authors (OxIA) and released at the Wolvercote Literary Festival in June. It includes short stories from children and adults and is free to download.
OxIA plans to build on this collection, adding more stories to be released in a new edition at the inaugural Wallingford Literary Festival on October 3, 2026 (St Mary’s Church and Methodist Church in Wallingford, Oxfordshire).
