An awful secret to keep

Based on true events, this is the story of a woman, in her early 60s, who is forced to reassess everything she has believed to be true in her life when she makes a staggering discovery.

That discovery was that the father she had always adored, respected and looked up to wasn’t her father at all.

It was a discovery that possessed her. She had to know the truth, but with the two people who could share that with her already dead, the questions piled up until the enormity of the deception threatened to destroy her.

That woman was my mother.
